Hi
We thought Avidiva was awesome, they put on a great show.
Only one comment, we thought that perhaps it might have been better to be on a
raised stand, as sometimes hard to see them.
We would definitely get them again.

Everyone has been raving about DJ Soundwave. He was great at judging the mood of the crowd and playing the right stuff at the right time and the right volume! I don't think I've ever been to an event where the dance floor was busy the whole time, particularly at a work function. We got lots of comments about how great he was, even from the caterers (Eat Catering in Taupo)! I will definitely be recommending him and hope to use his services again in the future, please tell him thank you from me.

Saxocino were really great last Friday night and really added to the atmosphere of our function. Deane was lovely to deal with and the rest of the group were fabulous too - they had a great sound and having the vocalist really added a special something to the overall function. I spoke with the team today and the feedback was largely positive. They did say it was a bit flat at the start but that was probably due to the venue, the fact that everyone was moving from the other room and the Hipnotics just getting to know everyone. By the end they were pumping and everyone was happy.
The general consensus is that we would happily hire them again.

Well That 80's Band lived up to our expectations!!! They are professional and down to earth and it was a pleasure to deal with them not to forget to mention that they absolutely ROCK!!! Everyone who went to the wedding is talking about them and even people that didn't go have heard that they were awesome. We wanted our wedding dance to be something special and Evan and the crew definately made that happen for us! I am glad we planned our wedding around them being able to perform :)

Dear David
Thanks so much for finding Don Franks at last minute for our Beca Wild West Ball last Saturday night. Everyone had a brilliant time and we received lots of comments on Don's performance. He was fantastic and definitely looked the part in his western get-up! I received a number of comments on how nice it was to have someone playing the piano as background music (we usually don't have music in the reception area). It really created a nice atmosphere and the tunes Don played were spot on.

Dear David and Team
We would like to thank you for your advice and patience as we planned the music for our wedding ceremony and reception.
There were many revisions to our music brief, but the final plans worked perfectly, and we could not agree more with the high recommendation which the Hypnotics is given by DGM.
From the PA system provided for the ceremony through to the final packdown of the event, everything was efficient and seamless.
The Hynotics are a superb act, all of our guests have raved about them, the quality of the sound and their undeniable talent. We do feel incredibly lucky to have had such fabulous artists perform at our party of a life time. They are full of energy, superb vocal artists and musicians, and kept the dance floor full all night.
We would highly recommend the services of DGM to all of our friends and family. Connected to superb music makers - you really can't go wrong.

Ben was fantastic, we provided a rough playlist of the type of music we wanted and asked Ben to find other suitable music to fill in the gaps. We only gave him a short list so the gaps were rather large and he absolutely exceeded our expectations. We had a fantastic wedding and Ben deserves alot of the credit for later in the night, even people who generally don't dance were up on the floor having a great time. All in all we were very pleased with the outcome and would be happy to recommend Ben in ther future.

Rock house Party were fantastic - we were wanting blues and rock from the
70's and they provided excellent music that we could sing and dance to.
Nice bunch of guys.
The service by David Greer music was generally very good. The service in
finding a suitable band was excellent.
Disappointing to get a call the day before the wedding to say the band was
on hold as the payment hadn't gone through. Was our fault (cheque in mail
rahter than DD) but felt this approach could have been a little 'softer'.
Overall the music was fantastic.

Thanks so much for the fantastic performance by The Hipnotics at the Interagency Spring Ball. Everyone raved about the band, and the dance floor was packed from the moment the band started right through to their last song. As one person said in the event survey "The band were the highlight for me, they played just the right mix of songs and really got the night going. Dave and Christina came up to the Hawkes Bay to play at our wedding and I must say they were an absolute highlight to the evening! We booked the band from overseas so had never heard them live - we were really relying on the feedback we'd read from other satisfied customers. We have to say that we certainly weren't disappointed!! Our wedding served as a bit of a family reunion… they gave 100% the whole night and it was never long before more people were back up and dancing. We've had so many guests comment on how fantastic they were and especially how brilliant Christina was at singing Lady Gaga!! If we are ever to put on another big event, we'd definitely be contacting them again!!
Please could you let them how thankful we are for their awesome performance? They were absolutely perfect and played exactly what we (and our guests) wanted to hear!!

Shaken Not Stirred came in very discreetly and set themselves up without interrupting the flow of the party and speeches as they progressed.
They played fantastic music which everyone loved.
They packed themselves up - once again discreetly - and I did not notice their comings and goings so unfortunately I didn't get to praise them in person before they left. But I would highly recommend them and thank them for the wonderful entertainment they provided for our party.

Shaun was FANTASTIC! The best you could ask for in a entertainer/singer for your wedding! I thought it was especially lovely how he was able to sing our first dance song, even without being able to find the backing track. Everyone was up dancing at some point in the night and from the moment he began playing there was no resting on the dancefloor. Shaun really knows how to interact with the crowd (old and young) and I had so many people asking where I found him, how much he was etc etc as they just loved him! What an amazing voice and range of songs for someone so young.

what a fantastic contribution That 80s Band made to our wedding
party. From the opening bars of our first song it was clear that they
were going to be brilliant. I know we're hardly objective, but I've

Luke Whaanga was sensational. All age groups from children to our senior citizens loved his warm, flexible, patient personality that was charming and professional. Luke went further than we paid for, and made the night a success. At the end of the night the audience gave a haka, waiata and group performance to thank Luke for his generosity. Luke had lines of people wanting his autograph, and some were crying at the end of the night saying "they didn't want to go home". Luke inspired the young and charmed everyone else. From Shearers and Pig Hunters to Social Workers and Maori Wardens we all had a tremendous time. Some believed Luke has a strong voice, he is a great MC and smooth dancer. He is going to be a great Maori entertainer in line with a young John Rowles. Luke is the whole package.

You guys were AMAZING!!!!!!!! We had the most wonderful time and we have had really good feedback from a number of guests about the music - both from the perspective of the background music at dinner and the dance music, and the choices. You made the comment to me that you don't often get the chance to play background music and really enjoyed doing so. I would strongly suggest that perhaps this is something you want to promote! We were very happy with that and I was also very grateful that you were all instantly responsive to my request to lower the volume when one song started off a little too loud. I think the they are a top act!
We contacted the one of the references you had on your site and she raved - we can see why. Testimonials are really great, particularly with contact detail - I am happy to provide both. Let me know what you would like for your website.
I would like to express thanks that you played beyond the required contracted time. The die-hards were still going well after midnight and you kept playing - thank you so very much. for our 50th Wedding Anniversary.
The highlight of the week was our "Dine and Dance" at 'The Pines' on
Saturday night.
I want to thank you for your contribution to this event by providing a
great range of music, which allowed all ages present (from teens to
mid-80's) to get up and dance, and it is not always so easy to please three
generations musically!
We appreciated the preparation and thought put into the music which you
presented so well , and revived memories for so many.
The eldest couple told me they hadn't danced for years as " there has

feet again!

Nick and his team were outstanding and so helpful - you were right on
the button when you recommended these guys and the band extended our
expectations
They arrived about 3pm to set up, we were having a run through with
things and they offered there sound system for our presentation how cool
was that.
They only had one break and put on music that still kept people on the
dance floor.
We only have praise for them and as I was cleaning up the next day
people were looking at using the venue and I had no hesitation in
recommending the band and going through David Greer as it removed stress
of an important part of a function.

Collective response was that Suzanne was 'outstanding' and 'deserves more work'.
Coonsummate professional, well rehearsed (including a track she'd not done

We were delighted with Brett Wallace at our event . He fitted in very well
and sang songs that everyone enjoyed. I would thoroughly recommend him as a
singer and a very pleasant person.
The weather on Saturday was the wettest we have had for months and the rain
didn't ever let up however everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and Brett
certainly helped this to happen - there was no petanque played !

Yes we did very much enjoy Grant Chilcott. He was really well groomed and an excellent performer both vocally and musically. Grant was the perfect type of entertainment we required for the day and suited the venue and our type of patronage. The only disappointing factor was that we didn't have the patronage on the day that allowed for Grant to perform to a maximum crowd, however, Grant was very professional and delivered his performance as if there were a larger crowd to participate.
Your service is very efficient and accurate in promoting the entertainers. This accuracy was critical to ourselves who were looking at setting a certain ambience and finding an entertainer or entertainers that would help create this. Grants audio allowed us to actually listen and discover if his music would be suitable for this day.

We have now used this band twice, once for a small informal desk function and because we had so much fun, again at our annual conference last weekend.
Given our profession working in the Financial Markets it was great to have a Band that has as much drive and energy to perform at the highest level as ourselves.
Not only did they play music that everyone could sing and dance to they just kept on pumping out the numbers and to be honest we could have quite easily continued the evening well past the scheduled finish as everyone was just simply into it.

The Hipnotics.......well, what can I say, they were everything I had hoped for, and much, much more!
After hearing only one song on the internet, I booked you, then had sleepless nights hoping I had done the right thing, as I am VERY fussy about my music, being a muso myself.
I most certainly did the right thing, but I still had a sleepless night after the party. All I could hear in my head was your great band, and I was buzzing to the max!

1. Right on time to set up in the afternoon, very pleasant to deal with.

The band was amazing. We wanted Annie's song by John Denver as our song to get married to and originally had a friend who was going to sing it. Our friend pulled out last minute so we went armed with the Cd only to find out that Linda had learnt the song for us. That was great. The band itself was amazing - really had fun with them and a lot of people have commented on how good they were - they were a great choice.

Not only did we have a great day but everyone - no EVERYONE commented on the
band and thought they were just brilliant - they appealed to everyone's
sense of style and they were just so professional.
Please pass on our thanks to the group - they were awesome and I'd use them
